Pigtale was a ceramics business that operated on Brunswick Street in Fitzroy from 1981 to 1994. It initially focused on handcrafting whimsical figurines, including gnomes, dragons, and a variety of Australian and exotic animals.

Over time, the venture expanded into designing and producing uniquely offbeat tea sets, platters, and vases. Utilising midfire clay and vibrant underglazes, Pigtale became known for its strikingly colourful and imaginative creations, blending artistry with functionality to create ceramics that stood out for their character and craftsmanship.
